Impact and Investment Fund (IIF)

The EMIS Impact and Investment Fund (IIF) searches have been developed through a collaboration between Cumbria PRIMIS Informatics, CBC Health Ltd, NECS and CDRC to support practice achieve the Network Contract DES requirements for 2022/23.

These searches have underwent stringent quality control and hazard review processes to ensure accurate results are achieved.

We are also delighted to announce that following collaborative work with RAIDR, an IIF Dashboard is now available to help practices, PCNs and the ICB visualise progress and support improvement in all indicators. Practices do not need to manually upload any data, and both S1 and EMIS practices are included.

Accessing IIF Population Reporting Searches

To access the IIF Population Reporting Searches on EMIS, you will need to download and import the following .zipfile:

IIF 22-23 CDRC, PRIMIS, NECS, CBC HealthDownload

If you have not performed this process before, please refer to the Download/ Import guide below, which provides you with step-by-step instructions on how to Download and Import .zip files into EMIS:

Any updates to the Population Reporting searches will be communicated to CDRC Precision users via the mailing list for the CDRC. To ensure you stay up to date with the latest information, please sign up to the mailing list at http://eepurl.com/9131L

Guidance on the EMIS IIF Population Reporting Searches

The IIF 22-23 CDRC/PRIMIS/CBC Health Ltd/ NECS folder contains the Impact and Investment Fund searches.

These searches have been separated into IIF Reports for Look Ups and Payment Indicators, please use the Payment Indicator folder.

Some of the indicators, if necessary, are categorised further into End of Year (EOY) and HAID (HAID).

EOY reports tell you what the performance would be as if it was the last day of the financial year. The EOY reports become more useful and accurate  the closer you get to the end of the year.

HAID reports tell you what the performance is based on the last 12 months.

Guidance on IIF Alerts imbedded in Clinical Templates

The IIF indicators for Cardiovascular disease CVD-01 – 06 have been imbedded in the Long Term Condition Review Templates alerting clinicians to those patients which require actions or coding to achieve the IIF indicators. These alerts are intelligent and will only appear for those patients who meet the IIF indicator requirements, see the examples below.
