Detection of Sepsis is integrated into the CDRC platform. This is based around a Sepsis Assessment Template. When the Sepsis template is launched it will automatically display the age appropriate tab.
How to Access
With the Patient record retrieved, in the lower left hand corner there is a search bar, type in ‘Sepsis Assessment – CDRC’ and select the following template:
Alternatively, press F12 and type in ‘Sepsis Assessment – CDRC’ in the search bar, this will return the aforementioned template.
This template can also be reached from the CDRC Index View (if it has been added to your clinical tree) and specific infection templates
Sepsis Assessment Template
This template is completely separate to the system-wide TPP sepsis template. It will not launch automatically based on text or Read codes added to the system.
Once open, it is easy to complete the required information quickly and determine the risk of sepsis.
