Blood Borne Virus (BBV) Test Alert for SystmOne

Accessing and Activating the Blood Borne Virus (BBV) Test Alert in SystmOne:

To access the BBV test alert on SystmOne, you will need to be a member of the DCS organisational group. Instruction on how to join this group can be found here.

Click here for a guide on how to activate the BBV Test Alert
1. Once you are a member of the DCS group on SystmOne. (click here for information on how to join)
2. Open the Protocols area:
3. Search for ‘BBV’, then activate the following protocols (click on each checkbox):
4. Open the Patient Status Alerts area:
5. Search for ‘Consider Screening’, and then activate the following PSAs*

*For practices who joined the DCS group after 01/06/23 these Protocols & PSAs will be shown as ‘Active’ but will not activate (pop-up). To activate these alerts at your practice, please email contact-cdrc@healthinnovationnenc.org.uk and inform us that you would like the BBV Protocols & PSAs to be switched on. Please include your Practice Code in your email.
