Economic inactivity in the North East and North Cumbria is a significant and growing challenge, and in some of the local authority areas in our region applies to one in three working age adults. It is estimated that there are around 250 000 people in the North East and North Cumbria who are in work with health conditions.
The North East and North Cumbria is developing an exemplar approach to improving the health of our population and the productivity of our region. This Local Enhanced Service will support identification and referral of the cohort of the population who will benefit most from interventions to ensure they can remain in work with health conditions.
CDRC have developed the reports to retrospectively identify patient cohorts who meet the required criteria for the WorkWell Local Enhanced Service (LES).
Accessing CDRC’s resources on SystmOne
To access the reports for the WorkWell LES you will need to be a member of the DCS group on SystmOne. To do this, please follow the instructions on the CDRC SystmOne Access webpage.
WorkWell LES Reports
The required reports are located in the CDRC Projects > WorkWell Local Enhanced Service report folder. Expand the ‘By Category’ node to view this folder in your SystmOne unit.
You will see that there are 3 reports in this folder; these reports were developed to provide insight into Fit Note data at your practice.
The highlighted report – 1. Fit Note L6M >=2 AND L3M (not 2 a year for the last 2 years) without standard reason # – will identify the patient cohort who are eligible for the WorkWell LES (as highlighted in the WorkWell LES document).

To run this report, right-click on the highlighted report and click ‘Run’. Once the report has been successfully ran, you will be able to view the patient list by right-clicking on the report and clicking on ‘Show Patients’.

Please refer to the WorkWell LES document once you have identified which patients are eligible for referral to the Work Coach.
