Accessing the Diabetes Population Reporting Searches
To access the CDRC Diabetes Population Reporting Searches on EMIS, you will need to download and import the following .zip file:

*NB: this guide uses a Lipid Resource File for illustrative purposes only, the steps undertaken to import the CDRC Quality Renal File are the same.
You can check whether you have the most up-to-date version by reviewing the date on the .zip file. Guidance on the Diabetes Population Reporting Searches
To view CDRC’s focused Population Reporting Diabetes searches navigate to the CDRC Quality Diabetes IGR (2nd December 2024) folder and open the CDRC Quality Diabetes IGR Focused Reports folder.

The Reports within this folder are split into different sections for ease of use:
Prevention
These reports will ensure that disease registered for patients with Diabetes and Non-diabetic hyperglycaemia (NDH) are accurate and up to date, while identifying patients for the NHS NDPP.

Casefinding / Screening
These reports identify patients who many be incorrectly coded or not coded for Diabetes and may need a review.

Template
To access the CDRC Diabetes Template, you will need to have the CDRC Precision Resource Launcher enabled at your practice. Information on how to do this can be found by clicking on the link below:
Once enabled, you will be able to follow these steps:
- With the identified patient’s record retrieved, press F12 and select CDRC Precision Resource Launcher.
- Click on Long Term Condition Review Templates (QoF) > Diabetes, which will open the CDRC Diabetes Template
The Diabetes Page allows you view previous records and input key relevant information onto the patient record.
